"We've staked the whole future of American civilization not on the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us . . . to Govern ourselves according to the commandments of God. The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded." -

-President James Madison

"The reason that Christianity is the best friend of Government is because Christianity is the only religion that changes the heart."

Thomas Jefferson

We Will Not Forget.  Prayers And Tears
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Our Soldiers are in need of our prayers.>>>>>
Please Please take this candle say a prayer and pass it on to someone who will Pray>>>>>>>>>>>
I would like to say.  That I am in prayer for our country and it's leaders.  May the God Of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob guide them, direct them in their decisions.  I pray for God to intervene in the lives of our enemies, change their hearts.

Lord I so know your power and grace.  I ask that you lend your ears and mind to the people in the USA.  I ask you to protect my family, my country, and my friends.

I ask that you hold dear those in the middle east I have met on the internet.  Lord I pray for the PEACE OF JERUSALEM!  I pray for the Palestinian people.  I pray for our Jewish people.

Lord heal the wounded hearts of those lost in turmoil.  I ask for you Lord to intervene in your time and your need.  You alone know when and how to change these things.   I love you God.  I ask these things in Jesus name.

Let me echo this prayer by David Wilkerson  "I believe our window of opportunity to respond to God's call is brief. We all should pray that our nation repents and turns back to the Lord. But our most intense prayers should be for our own hearts: "Lord, let me tremble not at the disasters, but at your Word. I want to hear your voice in all of this. Cause me to turn wholly to you."
Much has been written about the prayers of George Washington, our first President. The most famous example reportedly took place while General Washington led the Colonial troops at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. During that harsh winter in 1777, food, warm clothing and supplies were scarce and the hardships were immense. A local man named Isaac Potts was walking among the oaks early one morning and heard a voice echoing through the trees. As he neared its origin, he saw General Washington kneeling in the snow, earnestly praying for his troops.

Potts returned with excitement to his wife and exclaimed, "I have this day seen what I never expected. Thee knows that I always thought that the sword and the gospel were utterly inconsistent, and that no man could be a soldier and a Christian at the same time. But George Washington has this day convinced me of my mistake."

After relating what he had seen, and concluded with this prophetic remark, "If George Washington be not a man of God, I am greatly deceived--and still more shall I be deceived, if God do not, through him, work out a great salvation for America."
Psalms 43

1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. 2 For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? 3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. 4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. 5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
